The Center for Energy Information and Power Market Development (EAVCED) is a unit under the Electricity Regulatory Authority of Vietnam (ERAV), established pursuant to Decision No. 935/QD-BCT dated April 2, 2025, by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), through the merger of the Electricity Market Development and Training Center and the Energy Technology and Information Center.

Within the framework of cooperation with SES Vietnam Exhibition Services Co., Ltd. (Informa Markets), EAVCED is organizing a Capacity Building event. The event is designed as a forum connecting policy, technology, and investment, bringing together regulators, enterprises, investors, and energy experts to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and promote Viet Nam’s energy transition.

The event will be jointly organized by EAVCED and Informa Markets over two days, focusing on key topics related to policy, practical implementation, and technological applications in the energy sector.

1. Agenda

Afternoon, November 5, 2025:
The session will focus on the Competitive Power Market and the DPPA Mechanism, featuring presentations from policy research experts and experience-sharing from businesses and investors. The forum will also cover solutions for energy efficiency and sustainable cooling technologies.
Morning, November 6, 2025:
The forum continues under the theme “Powering Vietnam’s Net Zero Journey by 2050: Integrating Solar, Offshore Wind, and Market Solutions.” Discussions will focus on policies and investments for renewable energy development, particularly solar and offshore wind power. A dialogue session will be held among policy experts, investors, and large electricity consumers to discuss the DPPA mechanism and renewable energy development policies.
